Suzzie Vango
Suzzie's successful career has taken her all over the UK and internationally, working with professional and amateur organisations, singers and choirs of all ages. In addition to her varied portfolio career, Suzzie is an Associate Artist at the University of Warwick and co-author of the award winning warm up book, how to make your choir sound awesome. Female a cappella ensemble
Suzzie founded Papagena, the UK's flagship female vocal ensemble, with Sarah Tenant-Flowers in 2015.The group has toured the UK extensively, giving performances at numerous Music Festivals and events and appearing on BBC Radio 3 In Tune, BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour and a Scala Radio Featured Artist. Papagena has released two recordings on the SOMM Recordings label, the latest of which, Hush! was released in Spring 2020 and the previous album The Darkest Midnight reached #1 in the Amazon download charts and #6 in the UK Classical charts in December 2018.

Suzzie has also been a guest conductor for National Youth Choir of Great Britain, Ex Cathedra Chamber Choir, Manchester Chamber Choir and Sing for Pleasure on their residential choral courses.

Suzzie is in demand as a vocal workshop leader. She is a Vocal Tutor for Ex Cathedra Education on their award winning projects, she is Schools Programme Lead for SEN Charity Music of Life and has led workshops nationally and internationally for organisations including:

Vocal Coach
Suzzie is an established singing teacher and a qualified vocal health first aider. As a former Head of Singing at Bromsgrove School, Suzzie is now vocal coach to the CBSO Youth Chorus, Singing Teacher at the University of Birmingham and teaches privately from her own home. She also works as a freelance vocal coach for choirs across the UK and abroad. She has run webinars for ABCD and Sing for Pleasure, and has created online content for groups including: Music of Life, Ex Cathedra's Singing Playgrounds, SingMaker & ChoirMaker, Stagecoach, Kidderminster Choral Society and City of Birmingham Choir.
